Second half goals from Riyad Mahrez and Julian Alvarez saw City book a place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 2-0 victory over Chelsea.<br /><br />Mahrez broke the deadlock with a precision free-kick from the edge of the box that left Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy rooted to the spot.<br /><br />And when Mendy denied the Algerian winger five minutes later, Julian Alvarez was in the right spot to turn in the rebound.<br /><br />Stefan Ortega Moreno, making his third start since joining the Club in the summer, also impressed with a string of fine saves to keep a clean sheet.<br /><br />
